The plot of the game turtles are on vacation and watching the news on TV. Suddenly, the broadcast, which was anchored by April O'Neill, is interrupted and on the screen appears Schroeder, who announces that the island of Manhattan has been seized and lifted into the air, for further transportation into space. April is also held hostage by the villain. The turtles give up their rest and set out to rescue April and the island. They must pass through New York City, get to the island, then infiltrate the Technodrom in space and deal with Schroeder and Krang.
The gameplay of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 3 is similar to the previous game, with a co-op mode and character selection. As in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2, in the third installment each of the turtles has its own unique weapon and super move. There are a total of eight levels in the game, each of which ends with a boss battle. In addition to Shredder and Krang, you will see Beebele and Rocksteady, Toku and Razer and Super Shredder as the bosses.
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 3: The Manhattan Project won the Best NES Game award in 1992, so it is definitely worth a look for action fans and Ninja Turtles fans.
