The NES game Tetris, or "Tetris", is a puzzle game that came out after the previous unofficial NES version and the family computer version.
By 1989, about a generous number of game development companies had claimed the rights to create and distribute Tetris, but the Soviet ELORG ruled that no company had such rights. ELORG later granted the rights to Atari and Nintendo.
The purpose of Tetris
The purpose of the game Tetris is well known to all - it is necessary to match the falling pieces with each other, when fully united along a horizontal line, all the matched pieces disappear, replenishing the player's score of points. Gradually the game becomes more complicated, increasing the speed of the falling pieces. Tetris is essentially an endless game with no ending.
Music in the game from various releases belongs to Russian folklore, such as "Korobeyniki", and there is also a composition by Tchaikovsky - "Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy". The game features a two-player mode, in which the winner is the one with the most points.
