  • The NES game Door, or "Door Door", is a logic arcade game developed in Japan, in 1983, for the home PC and later re-released on various other platforms, including the Famicom.

The plot of Door Door is uncomplicated, the player has to control a spherical creature in a cap, named Tun, who has to avoid meeting aliens roaming the level. Levels consist of platforms that are connected by ladders. In addition to the stairs, the platforms are haphazardly lined with doors that teleport the entrant to another platform; the doors can be opened and closed. The main task of the player is to confuse the aliens, or rather to catch them in the doors, for which you get bonus points and move to the next level.

The gameplay of Door Door is quite unusual and reminiscent of Spy vs. Spy, where there is also the idea of doors. Enemies, aliens, have the peculiarity of different behavior, some straight trying to catch the main character, others wander the location, some are able to jump. With each level the game becomes more complicated, there is a pressing need to think through the strategy of each move. The last level is incredible, the death of the character comes as a result of one wrong move.

The last level is simply unbelievable, the death of the character comes as a result of one wrong move.

On the whole, Door Door is a game of genius, and it received incredibly positive reviews from critics and gamers when it was released, even being ranked among the best games in Famicom history.
