The gameplay of Kart Fighter follows all the canons of the genre. The player's goal is to defeat their opponent by knockout or finish the fight with more health than their opponent. Each character has special tricks and combinations of punches. The single player game has five difficulty levels to choose from, giving you the opportunity to train and test your nerves. Kart Fighter has a two-player mode, but the menu is no such item, to connect the second player must simply select a character with the second joystick.
All eight characters in the game borrowed from the game Super Mario Kart, as well as the cover, but some still have undergone small changes in appearance, such as the princess dressed in a mini-skirt. The developers copied the characters from the 16-bit graphics to 8-bit, which at that time was quite difficult to do, but they did it well. The game itself is fun and playable enough, so despite the fact that it is a pure pirate's handicraft, it became very popular and loved by many players.
