Ufouria: The Saga

The NES game Ufouria: The Saga is an arcade platformer, released in Japan and known as Hebereke or Hebereke. With this game the series began, but each game in the series, strangely enough, was not a continuation of the previous one, but was developed in a completely different style.

Hebereke is the name of the main character in Ufouria game, which is translated from Japanese as "unreliable" or "drunk", in the English version the main character's name is Bop-lui. According to the plot of the game the main character and his two friends live in a world called Ufouria. One day the three of them get into a mysterious crater, which they find by accident. Suddenly, the main character's friends lose their memory and perceive Bop-lui as their enemy, as a result of which he flees the crater from them. After thinking about what happened, Bop-louis decides to find his friends and try to restore their memories.

When he finds each of his friends, Bop has to fight with them to get them to remember him. Once everyone is found and the friends' memories are restored, the three of them have to find the keys to the gate to get home. In the finale, the player will face a battle with the main boss, the robot. Ufouria: The Saga game supports password input to save your progress, the graphics are nice enough, made in Japanese style. You can switch between characters during the game, as each of them has their own abilities and in specific cases you can overcome an obstacle or an opponent only with a specific character.
