The game for NES - Navy Blue or Battleship, is a representative of the strategy genre, which was released in Japan in 1989 and only in 1992 the game reached Europe. Despite the fact that the language in the game is Japanese, any of you will understand its meaning, because it's all known game "Battleship".
In the storyline of Navy Blue, you'll need to gradually make your way through each stage to your enemies base and destroy it. Each stage is a certain place (square) in the sea and passing one you can move on to the second one with a free trajectory. The plot itself is difficult to tell, because the author of this article does not speak Japanese, but immediately after starting the game on the screen you can see President Gorbachev and it becomes clear that the plot is based on some kind of conflict between the USSR and another country for the sea.
The gameplay of Navy Blue itself, as stated earlier, will be understandable to anyone who knows the game of Battleship. You place your ships on the map and your opponent's ships and you take turns, i.e. you shoot at the squares on the field trying to hit your opponent's ship. There are different classes of ships in the game - dinghies, single decks, double decks, etc. Gameplay is designed for one player and this is logical, because playing two you will see the deployment of the opponent's ships, which is not allowed.
You will not be able to play the game.
