The Side Pocket or "Billiards" game for NES is a platform billiards simulator that was originally released for arcades and later re-released for various consoles.
The main game mode involves the task of scoring a certain number of points, as a result of which you can go to the next level. Each level increases the number of balls, making it more difficult to play. Balls must be scored one by one, in the established numbered order. Side Pocket has a two-player mode where the objective is the same, but the game is played by both players in turn.
In Side Pocket you can do different tricks, like tossing and spinning a ball. There are competitions in different cities, and the color of the table changes, as does the table itself. The game has a variety of options racks (placement of balls) at the beginning of the competition. In general, the game is not a bad simulator of billiards, which can please fans of the genre.
