The NES game, Nintendo World Cup or "Nintendo World Cup", is a soccer sports simulation game developed specifically for the NES and Game Boy platforms in Japan. It was also released in 1990 in Japan and in the U.S.A.

Nintendo World Cup contains the basic rules of the game of soccer, but has a number of differences, so it can be called a simulator only at a stretch.
