The game was published only in Japan, the translation to other languages was done by amateurs, as in our case the translation to Russian. Super Dodge Ball, all teams differ in their style of play, such as some playing faster, others intercepting the ball more easily from their opponents, and so on. Kunio in the game is the captain of the Japanese team. Each athlete on the team has his own name and characteristics. Before a match, it is possible to change the composition of the team and the position of players on the field.

In the players' menu you can tell each of your teammates something, give them gifts or commands, thus changing their mood and behavior in the game. The playing field in Kunio-kun no Nekketsu Soccer League features a changeable weather that affects various player stats, making it harder to run in puddles, for example. This is not a standard soccer game, there are almost no rules, you can knock your opponent down, push and kick.
