  • The NES game 720° or "720 Degrees", is a skateboarding sports simulator developed in 1986 for arcades and later re-released for other platforms, including the NES.

The 720° game was, at the time of its release, one of the first dedicated to the extreme sport. The very name of the game is associated with a difficult trick performed on a skateboard - a flip of 720 degrees, i.e. two full flips in the air, in a jumping off the ramp. Several skate parks are available to the player, some can be visited from the start of the game, others must be accessed by passing all the necessary tests. Any park is a location, consisting of several different areas, with different jumps and obstacles.

The gameplay of the game 720° meets all the classic canons of the genre at the time. The view of the player is presented from above from the side, you can move anywhere, but you always have to perform some kind of stunt on the board to score points. In addition to sports obstacles in the form of jumps, slides and more, the game also has natural obstacles in the form of extraneous objects. For example, between playgrounds, there's a road that can get you killed by a car if you're not careful.

As a whole, the game 720 degrees leaves only positive emotions, free movement in the world, beautiful graphics and music design, what more do you need for a sports simulator? The game is definitely recommended to all fans of sports simulation and extreme sports.
