The NES game Zen the Intergalactic Ninja or "Zen the Intergalactic Ninja" is based on the comics and is an action-platformer. The game was originally released on the Game Boy and a year later on console.
According to the story, Zen is a creature created for the sake of a genetic experiment and when the experiment was deemed unsuccessful the scientists decided to destroy the prototype. One of the scientists was against it and, to save Xen, launched him in a capsule into space. As a result, Xen flew to the planet Om, where he was taken in by the aliens, the masters of Om. Over the years the masters taught Xen the martial arts, making him the planet's strongest fighter and, as a result, a galactic mercenary. One day Xen is hired to save the planet, where a terrible evil has originated - Lord Kontaminus, who wants to destroy all living things. The evil was born because the inhabitants of the planet didn't take care of it and simply littered it.The gameplay of Zen the Intergalactic Ninja includes both the familiar platform side view and the pseudo-3D top view. Missions other than destroying simple enemies and bosses include additional tasks, such as saving people from fire or defusing a bomb within a limited time. Overall, the game has pleasant gameplay, an interesting storyline and colorful graphics - everything you need for quality action.
