Trojan

The NES game Trojan, or "Trojan", is a platform action game that was originally released on the arcade machine and later re-released on various other platforms.

The plot of Trojan takes the player to a post-apocalyptic future in which the entire world is destroyed by a nuclear war. As a result, bandit clans have formed on earth, terrorizing all peaceful people and fighting among themselves. To solve this problem the protagonist of the game goes to the lair of the largest gang to destroy its leader Achilles.

The gameplay of Trojan is presented as a classic platforming action game, with side-scrolling screen. The character is armed with a sword and a shield, which he uses to attack and defend himself against enemies. As the opponents are members of groups, which are armed with a variety of striking, shooting and throwing weapons: spears, maces, crossbows, etc. There's a two-player mode where you can play in turn or fight against each other in fighting mode, with one player as the hero and the other as a gang member.

There are a total of six levels in the game, with numerous enemies and bosses. Some levels have hidden rooms that you must find, and you'll be rewarded with bonuses.
