Power Blade 2

Power Blade 2 is a platforming action game and is a sequel to the first installment, Power Blade.

The game's plot takes place in the year 2200, when some company "Delta", engaged in the development of weapons, created a soldier - a cyborg. Delta representatives told the president of the U.S. that if the government does not buy the cyborg, they will sell it to another state. The protagonist, a representative of Nova, is given a government assignment to destroy Delta.

The main character, a representative of the company "Nova" receives a government assignment to destroy the company "Delta".

As in the first part, in Power Blade 2 the player has a choice of missions, which makes the game not linear. There are a total of five missions in the game, the first four of which can be chosen, and the fifth becomes available after completing four. Unlike the first part of the game, the gameplay added the possibility of the character to glide on the floor (ground), as well as updated the arsenal of weapons. The game was developed in the USA, after which it was re-released in Japan as Captain Saver.

The most significant change in gameplay was the addition of four power suits that can be collected while defeating bosses. Each suit has its own abilities: ceiling and wall climbing, swimming, flying, and invulnerability.
