  • The plot of Jurassic Park almost completely mirrors the plot of the movie, the only exception being a couple of missions. Dr. Alan Grant must go around the park and complete various missions in order to eventually escape from the park. In addition to escaping from the park, Alan must rescue Lex and Tim, the grandsons of the park's owner.

Jurassic Park's gameplay is a typical overhead shooter. The arsenal of the player has a variety of weapons, ranging from a simple shotgun to a grenade launcher. There are a total of six levels in the game, which contain such tasks as destroying velociraptor nests, searching for dinosaur eggs, powering up the main computer and others. Weapons are scattered throughout the locations of the levels and they have limited ammunition, which must be found and collected separately.

Bosses in Jurassic Park include large species of dinosaurs such as Tyrranosaurus rex. Some dinosaurs are impossible to destroy with weapons, so running away from them is your only option. At the levels there are objects in the form of boxes, in which you can find useful things, and opening one of them can be deprived of health or energy. Jurassic Park has a two-player mode, but only one at a time.
