Journey to Silius is a platforming action game that was released in Japan as Rough World, and was later re-released and renamed for the US and Europe.
The plot of Rough World was originally based on the Terminator movie, but due to the lack of license rights to the movie, the story and graphics were changed.
The storyline of Rough World was originally based on the Terminator movie, but due to the lack of movie license rights the plot and graphics were changed. The result is an unpretentious plot in which a certain Jay McCray goes to avenge his father's death on some terrorist group. The main character's father was a scientist in charge of a space colony called Silius.
Journey to Silius has a total of five levels with a variety of locations such as the ruins of a space colony, an underground hall, a factory, and more. Each level ends with a boss encounter. The enemies are various mechanical cannons, robots, mines, etc. The main character himself is armed with several types of weapons, which can be switched during the game. Initially a rifle and a shotgun are given, but over the course of the game you can assemble an arsenal of bulimeter, laser rifle and other guns.
All in all, Journey to Silius is not a bad action game, and although the game itself was not very popular, the musical background from it has been used in various remixes for quite a long time.
