  • Gun-Nac, or simply "Gun-Nac", is a platforming space shooter game developed in Japan and re-released a year later in the United States and Europe.

The story is set in a distant future where the Earth's resources have run out and humans are forced to relocate to another artificially created solar system.

The story of the game tells of a distant future where the resources of Earth have dried up and people are forced to resettle in another, artificially created solar system. At first, the resettlement went well, but suddenly there was some incomprehensible radiation, cosmic energy, which revived all possible inanimate objects and they attacked the earthlings. The Galactic Federation, which created the solar system, assigns Captain Gun-Nak, commander of the spaceship, to deal with the problem.

The gameplay of Gun-Nac corresponds to classic space shooters, controlling a battleship equipped with a variety of weapons, the player will have to fight against armies of enemies. The ship itself, as well as weapons can be improved by collecting bonuses knocked out of the enemies. The game has eight levels in total, each of them has a boss fight, and there are different minibosses in the middle of each stage.

All in all, we can say about Gun-Nac that it is a decent game of its genre, it is dynamic, has beautiful graphics and user-friendly gameplay.
