G.I. Joe: The Atlantis Factor

The NES game G.I. Joe: The Atlantis Factor, or American Soldier Joe The Atlantis Factor, is a platform action game and is a sequel to the first part of G.I. Joe: A Real American Hero.

The plot of G.I. Joe: The Atlantis Factor continues the plot of the first installment. This time, Commander Cobra, defeated in the first installment, has survived and raised Atlantis from the bottom of the ocean, where he has established his new base. Now he uses the most advanced space weapons, as well as trying to find the secret forces of Atlantis to enslave the world.

The game's gameplay has been updated with an added map where you can move from one mission to the next in a non-linear fashion, but some missions are still required to pass through without a choice. Just like in the first game, each mission is divided into several stages. The first stage is to get to the base, the second is to plant bombs, rescue hostages or find the right item and the third is to fight the boss. Just like in the first part, there are six characters in the game, but now they are not available immediately to the player, but are revealed one by one as the missions are completed.

Each character in G.I. Joe: The Atlantis Factor has unique abilities and weapons, but their stamina and strength levels are no longer displayed. Overall, The Atlantis Factor is a worthy sequel to the first installment that fans of the genre and fans of G.I. Joe should look forward to.
