The Ghostbusters or Ghostbusters game for NES is a platform action game based on the story of the movie of the same name, developed in 1984, in the United States for the PC. The game was later ported to the NES and other platforms.
The Ghostbusters game is about the adventures of ghostbusters, the player has to move around the city and catch the ghosts that pester the citizens. The plot, as such, is absent, but the general ideology of the film holds out.
The gameplay of Ghostbusters is not the same.
The Ghostbusters gameplay is quite mixed, there are elements of the arcade, and racing, and action. Missions consist of several stages, immediately when you turn on the game opens a map of the city, on which you can navigate with a badge. In the center of the city is a building ZUUL, in which the ghosts merge and increase peak paranormal activity. The player needs to prevent this by moving to the flying ghosts and suspending them by pressing the appropriate button. Then, when all the ghosts are paused, you can choose a building to drive to.
Car driving resembles classic racing, you have to avoid collisions with passing cars on the road, and collect the fuel barrels, otherwise there won't be enough for the journey to the goal. In general, the gameplay of Ghostbusters at first difficult to understand, it is difficult to determine what to do, which button to press. The sequel to this game, Ghostbusters 2, is another matter. So don't judge the first part strictly if you didn't like it, but watch the second one.
