Double Dragon 2: The Revenge

The NES game Double Dragon II: The Revenge is the sequel to the legendary first part Double Dragon, which received acclaim from gamers. The plot of the game continues the story of the first part: the heroes find out that the kidnapped Marian has been killed by the leader of the faction, and Billy and Jimmy go to exact their revenge. The finale reveals that Marian wasn't murdered after all and she comes to her senses after the death of the final boss.

The gameplay of Double Dragon II: The Revenge is broadly similar to the first part. The main weapons of the characters are arms and legs, and you can use objects knocked out of your enemies as weapons: sticks, bats, guns, dynamite etc. The main difference in gameplay from the first part is the ability to choose the difficulty in cooperative play. When choosing the first option players can not cause damage to each other, the second option can. Also, the final level of the game is only available when playing in difficulty mode.

All in all, Double Dragon II: The Revenge is a beautiful sequel to the beautiful first part, it has nice music and nice graphics and good gameplay. For action fans, Double Dragon 2 is definitely recommended to get through.
