Castlevania 2: Simon's Quest

The NES game Castlevania 2: Simon's Quest, or Castlevania 2, is a sequel to the first game and continues the series of Castlevania.

The plot of the game continues the story of the first part, the protagonist once again takes on the role of the vampire hunter, Simon Belmont. In the previous part, the hero was cursed by Dracula and now he must find all five parts of Dracula's body, take them to his castle and fight again against the villain.

The gameplay of Castlevania 2: Simon's Quest differs greatly from the first part. First of all, the developers added the world map, so the game is not linear. Now you can communicate with different characters, get useful and useless information from them. Can go to the merchants and buy a variety of useful things from them. There's day and night in the game, so you can either make your enemies stronger or weaker, depending on their level.

Like the first game, Castlevania 2: Simon's Quest also features a secondary weapon in addition to the whip. The parts of Dracula's body to be found in the various locations can be used not only for the end goal, but also in the course of completing the levels. For example, Drucula's rib can be used as a shield. The game has three different endings, which depend on the amount of time it takes to complete.
