Blaster Master

The NES game Blaster Master, or "Blaster Master", is a platform action game. The game was released in Japan under the name Chou Wakusei Senki Metafight, and then it was re-released and renamed for the US and Europe.

The plot of Blaster Master is, to put it mildly, not usual. A boy had a toad who once escaped from a jar and accidentally swallowed nuclear waste, and as a result grew to gigantic proportions. The toad dug a huge tunnel and ran underground. The boy ran after it and jumped into the tunnel. In the tunnel he found a rover equipped with a blaster cannon and an armored spacesuit. The boy donned the suit, climbed into the rover and raced through the underground tunnel in search of his pet.

The player will be driving this rover which looks more like a moon rover. The vehicle can bounce and shoot, which is what you'll be doing throughout the game as you explore the underground world. The enemies are different fantastic creatures, flying objects and other unexplored science. There are only eight levels in the game, each of which ends with a boss battle. After passing each boss, the machine gains new skills, such as driving on walls or flying. There are missions without the car, where the player will have to swim, because the rover does not have this ability.
