The Batman (Batman the Man) game for NES is a platformer with action elements, based on the movie of the same name.

The game takes place in Gotham City, where the villain - Joker - is trying to seize all power. Batman needs to get to the villain by completing five levels of the game and defeat him to save the city and avenge his parents' death. Along the way, the hero encounters not only enemies in the form of Joker's armed henchmen, but also various mechanical devices.

Batman is skilled in hand-to-hand combat, as well as armed with a harpoon gun and a throwing weapon. He can jump, bend over and push off walls to increase his jump height.

At the time of its release, a well-known magazine called Batman the best superhero game on the NES. As a result of its successful release, various sequels of the game were also released.
