Action in New York, the storyline is set in the future city of New York, as we know from the game's title, when it is the year 2029. The Earth was invaded by alien invaders and trying to seize it, the player has to act as a soldier and to resist them. The plot is unpretentious, but at the beginning of the game there is a fairly detailed and beautiful splash screen.

The gameplay of Action in New York has its own characteristics, unlike similar games of the genre. The player is in flight all the time, i.e. he is not running on the ground, but flying on a rocketpack. Another peculiarity of the gameplay is that the player has some satellites-assistants that constantly fire in different directions, helping the soldier to fight off the enemies attacking from every side. A nice touch is the presence of a two-player mode, as well as the ability to choose a character before starting the game, although they differ only in color of uniform.

On the whole, Action in New York makes only positive impressions, especially in cooperative game mode. Fairly bright graphics, pleasant music and a variety of enemies will not let even the most fastidious players get bored. Though, even the gameplay will not let this happen, because the game is very agile and requires instant reaction and constant concentration on what is happening on the screen.
