The NES game Final Fantasy 2 is a fantasy-style role-playing platformer and is a sequel to the first part - Final Fantasy.
The plot of the game continues the line of the first part and tells the story of the four characters, whose parents were killed, when attacked by the army of Palamecium. The gameplay of the game is similar to the gameplay of the first part, it also has several game screens - moving around the world (map), the screen of battle, which occurs step by step by each character, etc. The world consists of several cities and dungeons in which you can move freely. Each character can be individually equipped with different types of weapons and magic.
Unlike the first part of the game, Final Fantasy 2 characters cannot upgrade their classes, but they can upgrade the skills of the actions they take in battle. For example, if a character frequently uses a bow, his skills with that weapon increase. Turn-based combat, executed in exactly the same way as in the previous part, all four characters perform actions in turn. Characters who stand in the back row can be struck by arrows from the enemy's bow.
