  • The Tetris or "Tetris" game for the NES is a platform puzzle game developed by Atari, which was never officially released.

In 1989, many companies claimed the rights to develop and distribute the game Tetris, but only two companies received official approval, one of which was Atari. Tetris was the subject of numerous lawsuits in which many developers were involved. The game itself was owned by the Soviet Bureau, which was interested in legal distribution of its product, although at that time there were already distributed huge quantities of pirated products.

The process and purpose of Tetris is familiar to all, the player's task is to match pieces which "fall" from the top, and before they fall you need to rotate the piece so that it docks with those below. As a result of the accurate matching, along the horizontal line, the pieces disappear and turn into player's points. Tetris also features a two-player mode where the player with the most points wins.

One of Tetris's trademarks is its Russian-inspired music and the image of St. Basil's Cathedral, one of the landmarks of Red Square.
