Klax

The NES game Klax or simply "Klax", is a logic arcade game originally developed in 1989 for arcades by Atari. A year later, the game became very popular and was ported to many platforms, including the NES.

A rather simple task - stacking palettes by color, the developers managed to make very effective. The player seems to be in space behind the slot machine, the machine itself is a kind of conveyor belt, on the belt which in the direction of the screen (the player) are moving palettes of different colors. The player's task is to collect them with a special gripper and place them on stacks, depending on their color. Once the stack is filled with pallets of one color, they disappear, for which the player receives bonus points.

The gameplay of Klax is simple enough, with a joystick you can move the grip on the conveyor belt to pick up sticks and stack them in the right stack, and with one of the buttons you can drop the caught prey. Overall, Klax is a very simple but very interesting game, and an added plus is the two-player mode, although not two at once, but one at a time.
