Street Fighter 2: The World Warrior

The NES game Street Fighter 2: The World Warrior or Street Fighter 2 is an arcade fighting game, the first part of which was released on the arcade machine and was not imported to consoles. The second part, however, was reworked and released on various platforms.

Street Fighter 2 started a great series of games and the game is believed to have laid the foundation for fighting games in the 90s. The game's plot is a worldwide fight of street fighters. The player can choose one of four characters and compete against fighters from other countries. Each character, in addition to its location (the country and place for the fight), there is a large set of unique techniques and his fighting style. Subsequent games in the series have greatly increased the number of characters and locations.

Each duel consists of three rounds, which are limited in time. The winner is the player who knocked out their opponent or the one with the most health left at the end of the round. If both fighters have the same amount of health left, or they knocked each other out at the same time, given an additional round, until the winner is determined. Street Fighter 2 also has bonus rounds, which are given in the single-player game after every third round. Bonus rounds allow you to score points by using quick attacks, such as breaking as many of the dropping barrels as possible.

The Street Fighter game on the NES sold worldwide by the huge amount, it is a cult title and worthy of all fighting game fans as well as the entire series.
