The game for NES Widget, is a platform arcade game developed based on the popular animated series of the same name about the adventures of an alien named Widget.

The plot of the game is that the protagonist, the purple alien Widget, must stop his evil twin, Mega Sleng, who wants to destroy the planet Titanium. The protagonist is armed with a blaster that shoots round pellets. In addition to the blaster, Widget can transform into various forms, both objects and living creatures, such as a mouse, a cannon, a bird and others.

The gameplay of Widget is standard for the arcade genre, the character can run, jump, bend and shoot, and the controls are fairly precise. It would be OK if the game would not be so many bugs, admitted the developers. In some places you can go through a wall, in some accidentally move to another level, and of course there are places with bounces from the game.

On the whole, Widget is not a bad arcade game, which deserves the attention of all fans of the genre, it has nice graphics and not bad gameplay, and if there were no bugs, it could be classified as one of the best arcade games on the NES.
