The Blues Brothers, a NES game, is an arcade platformer developed in 1991 for the PC and later re-released on other platforms, including the NES.

The plot of The Blues Brothers is based on the plot of the movie of the same name, in which the brothers evade and run away from the police in order to organize a blues concert. To pass the level you need to bypass different traps, enemies in the form of police officers and find the attribute for the concert, such as a guitura or a drum. Thus, after passing five levels and collecting all the attributes the game will be considered passed.

The gameplay of The Blues Brothers is standard for this type of arcade game, the player can run, jump, bend and accelerate. In some missions you can interact with objects. As bonuses, there are vinyl records scattered throughout the levels, which can be used to replenish health. There are other, rare bonuses that you'll have to look for.

All in all, The Blues Brothers game has good gameplay and nice music, it can be played for an hour or two, we recommend it to all fans of arcade games. On the downside, we can note that on NES, unfortunately, the game does not have a two-player mode, while on some other platforms it is possible.
