  • The game Prince of Persia or "Prince of Persia" was developed in 1989 for the home PC and gaining popularity in 1992 was released on the NES and other platforms. The game is an arcade platformer with elements of fighting games, or rather a sword fight. At the time the game was released the graphics was just great, the developer created the movements of the character, copying the movements of a real person.

The plot of Prince of Persia requires the protagonist to rescue a princess kidnapped by Jaffar, the Sultan's vizier. During the Sultan's absence from the palace, Jaffar decided to seize the throne, he kidnapped the princess and gave her time to think to decide to marry him. If she refuses, she will be executed, so the main character needs to get to Jaffar in this very time and save his beloved. The story itself is very similar to the Disney version of Aladdin, apparently the developer didn't have enough money for the license, or there were some other reasons to call the game differently.

The game's levels contain many different death traps and hidden doors. You'll encounter knights of the vizier and skeletons along the way, and you'll have to fight them with your sword. The combat in Prince of Persia is not bad, but it will be a little bit complicated for young or novice players, just like the whole game. Thanks to its unique graphics and unusual gameplay at the time, the game won the hearts of gamers and received positive reviews from critics.
