The NES game Mickey Mouse 3: Dream Balloon, or Mickey Mouse 3, is a platform arcade game developed in Japan, in 1982, specifically for the Famicom platform. A year later, the game was reworked for the U.S. market for the NES platform and was released there as Kid Klown in Night Mayor World, which featured a clown named Kid instead of the main character Mickey Mouse.
According to the plot of Mickey Mouse 3, the main character (Mickey) works as a balloon vendor and wants to save up for a gift for his beloved Minnie who has a birthday soon. His dog Plutto comes running to Mickey and tells him that Minnie can't wake up. Mickey goes to Minnie's house, where he discovers that she has been trapped in a nightmare and Mickey needs to go into Minnie's mind to free her.

The gameplay of Mickey Mouse 3 follows all the parameters of games of the genre, Mickey can run, jump, squat, as well as inflate balloons and attack enemies with them. In the game each location has a unique design, and at the end of each level the player receives a bonus, to collect points, as well as battles with various bosses. The American edition has different bosses and some levels are different from the original.
