Mappy-Land

The NES game Mappy-Land, or "Mappy Land", is a platform arcade game that was released in 1986, in Japan, and later re-released for the United States and Europe. The game is a sequel to the first installment, Mappy, an arcade game about a cop mouse.

The plot of Mappy-Land is similar to the first part, the main task of the main character, Mappy, is to collect items stolen by the cat thieves, Meowks. Unlike the first part, each item is not just collected, but for a purpose. For example, before the start of the game it is reported that Mappy has a birthday and he needs to collect cheese, as a gift, etc.

The gameplay of Mappy-Land, in contrast to the first part, has undergone significant changes. The levels are now long and full, not limited by the size of the house, as in the first Mappy-Land. In addition to the main levels, the game still has bonus ones, in which you need to collect points for a set time. In contrast to the first version, there is no two-player mode in Mappy-Land, but it is not particularly necessary, because you can compete in turns without this mode.

Mappy-Land is an excellent continuation of the first part, with improved graphics, beautiful new levels and main ideology of the first Mappy. So the game is recommended to all fans of the first part and good arcade games in general.
