Legendary Wings

The NES game Legendary Wings or Legendary Wings is an arcade platformer originally developed for the arcade machine in 1986. Later, in 1988, the game was re-released specifically for the NES platform.

The plot of Legendary Wings tells the story of an ancient world in which humans came into contact with an extraterrestrial supercomputer named Dark. At first, the computer enlightened mankind, gave people new knowledge and technology, but at some point, there was a software failure and the Dark decided to destroy humanity. Then the gods came to help people and gave the best warriors of Earth angel wings, so they went to fight the computer. It's up to the player to become one of these warriors and save humanity.

The gameplay of Legendary Wings is quite varied, with the camera view of the character changing from side to top view at different levels. The main character is constantly in flight and is able to shoot various weapons. On levels with a side view you can land on the ground and even crouch down. Legendary Wings apart from five linear levels contains different sublevels, including secret ones, which must try to find. The character can use machine gun, laser, grenades, flamethrower and plasma gun as a weapon. Enemies in the game are diverse and look like some alien robots that are also armed with different kinds of weapons.
