The NES game Kamen no Ninja Hanamaru or Hanamaru Masked Ninja is an arcade platformer released in Japan. In the same year, this game was also released in the US, but with a modified hero and locations, called Yo! Noid, the gameplay and engine of the game remained the same. In the USA, the game was adapted to the advertising campaign of a pizzeria and the main character was given an image of the company's mascot.
