The NES game Joust, which in Russian sounds like "Knight's Tournament", is an arcade action game developed in 1982 for the arcade machine. Later, due to its high popularity, the game was ported to different platforms, including the NES.
Joust has no plot, the player controls a knight, riding an ostrich and must defeat all opponents in the location. The locations consist of platforms forming several floors on which you can run. To knock down an opponent you have to jump on top of him, the enemies attack the player in exactly the same way. Funnily enough, the ostrich that the player controls can not only run, but also fly, so you can climb to the upper platforms or attack your enemies at high speed.
Enemy knights come in different types and control other birds, as well as the location periodically flies pterodactyl, collisions with which must be avoided. There is red-hot lava under the platforms, on some levels it is open in some places and it is easy to boil if you fall there. Overall, Joust is quite a dynamic and fun game, so it's recommended for everyone to watch.
