Bubble Bobble Part 2

The NES game Bubble Bobble Part 2, or "Bubble and Bobble 2", is an arcade platformer that was developed as a sequel to the first dragon game "Bubble Bobble".

Bubble Bobble Part 2 specifically for the NES has a lot of differences in plot, relative to the first part of the game. The dragons are no longer called Bubble and Bobble, but Kubby and Rubby, who, according to the developers, are the descendants of the first ones. At that time, the game description, and the very opening splash screen, states that the main characters are a certain Bubby and Bobby, a girl and a boy. Bubby was kidnapped by the villain Skull and Bobby was turned into a bubbling dragon, after which Bobby went in search of his girlfriend.

The gameplay of Bubble Bobble Part 2 is similar to the first part, playing a dragon or dragons (in 2-player mode), the main task is to advance through the levels, destroying enemies with bubbles and collecting various bonuses. The main difference between Bubble Bobble Part 2 and the first part is better graphics and new types of enemies. The developers really worked on graphics of levels, in contrast to the empty locations of the first part, here beautifully drawn background landscapes.

On the whole, Bubble Bobble Part 2 will leave only positive impressions, with perfect gameplay of the first part, beautiful graphics and possibility of playing with two players.
