Banana Prince

The NES game Banana Prince, or Bananan Ouji no Daibouken, is an arcade platformer that was released in Japan and a year later in the US and Europe.

The game's main character, Banana Prince, is a resident of an island from which a dragon has stolen a treasure - a symbolic statue of a banana island. The protagonist must go not an easy way to find the kidnapper and return the stolen goods. Along the way, Banana Prince will meet fellow islanders and interact with them.

The gameplay for Banana Prince is in the classic platforming style with side scrolling. Levels are given a certain amount of time to complete. As a weapon the hero uses a banana, which kicks enemies. Also in the arsenal of the player has a bag of seeds, planted seed grows into a stem on which you can climb. At the levels of the game there are hidden platforms, which can only be climbed using the stem. There are bonus seeds that grow taller than the normal ones, which are used to get to the different bonuses and secret platforms. In the levels there are stores where you can buy various useful things with the collected points (rings).
