The NES game Adventure Island 2 or Hudson’s Adventure Island II is a platform arcade game in the Master Higgins adventure series. It is the second installment of the game, which was released a few years after the legendary first Hudson’s Adventure Island.

The gameplay of the second part is almost unchanged, the hero also moves around the locations on the island, has the same weapons and dinosaur helpers. The only thing that was added to the gameplay is the inventory, i.e. before the start of the game you can choose a dinosaur or a weapon. The levels in Adventure Island 2 are shorter and players are able to move backward to a certain point.

There are about ten locations on the island and initially the game leads the hero to certain locations while others remain unexplored. In order to pass all locations, you need to reach the main boss and die in the battle. After which, the boss will move to the location where the player has never been giving the player an opportunity in a new location. There are no limits to the number of continuations.

All in all, the second part has improved graphics and will definitely appeal to those who liked the first part.
